Wow - what a great find
A kitsch bird figurine of a BLUE JAY
Made in Japan
Likely circa early 1960s
Completely hand-painted with a lustre finish on the body and wings
Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, other damage or restoration
I cannot believe the wings, tail and branches have all survived perfectly intact for 60 years
Measures 6" tall and approximately 5" across
Marked only JAPAN stamped in navy blue
Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash
