Here is a big and very nice
Nodosohoplites sp.
on original matrix from the Lower Cretaceous Period.
Beautiful nacre colors! Cut base for easy expousing. Has a small repair due to glued parts which gave a crack during the extraction of the sample from the rock.
Aesthetic cabinet sample!
Locality: North-Western Caucasus, Russia.
Size: 155x133mm.
Age: Mesozoic Era, Lower Cretaceous Series, Upper Aptian Stage, around
114 million years ago.
