-You are ordering this antique, Whites of Utica, approx. 13.5" tall, tapered wall, German stylized Beer Stein,  decorated with cobalt slip.

-Whites of Utica was known for manufacturing German Beer steins right here in Utica, New York.  This stein body is an approximation of the large Mettlach German stein bodies (like Mettlach mold 2482).  Where Whites differentiated themselves is by focusing on having 2 separate "Side art" panels so that the stein would be displayed with its handle and thumblift visible, whereas German steins were typically meant to be displayed with the prominent "face art" facing the viewer and therefore, with the handle and thumblift hidden.
-Fantastic thumblift and dual side art featuring on side 1: 4 drinkers in what appears to be a basement keg cellar, drinking and reveling while a zither player entertains. At least 2 beer steins in the scene, including one that looks very similar to the actual stein you are ordering. Side 2: Floral / leaf design or pattern.
-Marked with "7" on the bottom and expected hash marks on top of tang where meets pewter lid.
