    Description

This is a large size, rare fossil ammonite called Eopachydiscus marcianus. It comes from the Upper Albian Stage, Cretaceous Series, Washita Group, Duck Creek Formation of Central Texas, U.S.A..
It is around one hundred and three million years old give or take five million years! It shared the world with the dinosaurs and it's species died out with them.
It measures 9-7/8" wide, 8-1/2" tall, 2" thick and weighs 7.4 LBS..
I found, excavated, prepared and identified this ammonite.
It is a great example of the Pachydiscus ammonite Family! It has great sutures showing!
It has no repair or artificial colors.
It has all of the paleontology, stratigraphy and locality information on the back.
I will combine sales to save on shipping up to 45 LBS.
Receive free fossil with second purchase! If you win more than one auction, please wait till I send a combined invoice before paying.
