RARE, 7-5/8" TEXAS FOSSIL AMMONITE ,DINOSAUR AGE, CRETACEOUS-M191

This is a nlarge size, rare fossil ammonite called Mortoniceras equidistans. It is around one hundred a three million years old, plus or minus five million years. It shared the world with the dinosaurs and it's species died out with them.
It comes from the Upper Albian Stage, Cretaceous Series, Washita Group, Duck Creek formation of North Texas, U.S.A.
It measures 7-5/8" wide, 6-3/8" tall, 1-7/8" thick and weighs 3.3 LBS. It great ribs and tubercles! It has some sutures showing and a piece of a heteromorphic ammonite on outer whorl!
It has no repair or artificial colors.
I found, excavated, prepared and identified this ammonite and it
has all of the paleontology, stratigraphy and locality information on the back.
