Vintage Camillus Viet Nam Era Air Force Survival Knife, Dated 3-1974, Excellent!

This is a nice vintage Camillus Viet Nam era fighting knife in excellent condition.
The knife is marked Camillus N.Y and 3-1974 on the pommel nut, there are no other markings on the knife.  The knife is in excellent condition with no pitting or rust, just some dark spots on the blade and pommel end.
The stacked leather handle is tight with no movement as is the guard. The knife measures 9 3/8 overall length and the blade measures about 5" from the tip to the guard.  There are two holes punched in the guard on the top side (back of the blade) and I assume these had a purpose that I'm not aware of.  This knife style is sometimes referred to as a Camillus Air Force Survival Knife and this matches the description of those I've researched.
